one of my favorite parts of christmas in the last few years has been packaging my gifts to everyone. this year I kept finding fantastic inspiration everywhere so I was psyched. two things to note. one, brown craft paper is rather hard to wrap with, and two, the toast christmas issue is one of the biggest reasons this worked. =) I'm in love with their catalogues. pure gold.
anyways, here are some pictures of the final products. the inspiration was "brown paper packages tied up with string".
oh toast, thank you for being a part of my life.

"snowflakes in the air"
. . .or at least on the windows.
last weekend we all decided to make snowflakes. some used patterns, and some did freestyle. some used normal paper, some used newspaper, and some even used candy wrappers haha. they all turned out pretty well though.
a little christmas baking.
the finished snowflakes.
my snowflake.

creative endeavors
here a couple pictures of the last two big projects for my drawing class. I'm actually terribly sad it's over.
here is the last homework project. it is a self portrait in chalk pastels.
and the here are some pictures of the process and the completed individual theme/symbolism project.
I'll sort of miss having pastels all over me. (and everything else)
finished!
I did most of this one to a background of christmas music and the movie "you've got mail." it seemed fitting. =)
